The Nawasena Team from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) earned third place in the 2025 World Ferry Safety Association (WFSA) International Ferry Design Competition, bringing pride to Indonesia on the global stage. They designed an eco-friendly electric ferry for Lagos Estuary, Nigeria, featuring efficient, inclusive design and automatic charging technology at the port.

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) has developed a spouted bed dryer to enhance the efficiency of sorghum drying processes independently of weather conditions. The system uses agricultural waste as fuel and is designed for ease of use by local farmers. This technology aims to boost agricultural productivity and support national food security.
